So, how do you generate new sales from existing data? The best thing you can do to generate new business is to contact people who are interested in what you have to offer... sounds logical, but how do you find them? You can spend time digging around, making cold calls to people who don’t know you exist. That’s a great way of meeting new people and some could well turn into business in the longer term... but you may want to generate business a little quicker. What you should do is contact those people you are already doing business with, have a strong relationship with, and ask them if they need more of what you have to offer... or know someone else that does? You could pick up the phone but they are probably out and about, trying to sell their own wears to new business prospects. Leave a message and they may call back when they have a minute... or you could... Send them an email and make them an offer they couldn’t possibly refuse... but not just any email...
