We’ve had a great week away in Mallorca, we needed to get away from all the negative vibrations and let the sun do its thing... it has and I’m ready to kick some butt again... and I am determined to keep a positive vibration going on in my world to power me on... Had a great meeting with Steve Bridger yesterday, talking about his world and mine, 2 hours became 4 but who’s counting... if the connection works then go with it and see what develops... so from here on in call me The NEW Business Generator, as that is exactly what I do for people... find them new business... if you’d like to know more then call me on 01753 852904. For the last 6 months I’ve been talking business lead generation and that is what I thought was a logical description for what I do but the word “lead” tends to infer work for my client. Research has shown we’re all a bunch of lazy folk in these modern times so we don’t want to do more work than we have to. You want someone to call you up and say “I’d like a pound of marketing and two kilos of sales please!” in an all encompassing European Union type way... assuming your gig is sales and marketing! You don’t want a list of 50 people to call up that might be interested... not that we work that way but many in the lead generation space do. So for the next six months I’m talking NEW business generation as the NEW business generator... I’ve registered new-business-generator.co.uk, as many of our friends like hyphens as it makes it easier to read. We can focus that web space on new business topics... We have so many websites... why do we have so many websites? Because if you want different people to connect with you then you need to talk to each individual in a different way... it’s like conversation or education, you need to present to people in different ways to enable them to connect with you and understand what it is you have to offer... from a website point of view, if what you say ticks boxes in their mind then they may well make contact with you so you can continue the conversation and ultimately do business together.
