Linkedin Polls & Answers - Part 3 of today's trilogy into the world of Linkedin
Clicked on the more option on Linkedin and there were Polls … I remember running one or two … and there they were under my polls, but I hadn’t closed them off … hit end!! Created a new Poll around the general election … they’re easy to create these polls and a few folk may answer them ... with the advent of Twitter and Hootsuite.com you can now send out a link to your Poll to your contact base in the outside world as well as your first line connections in Linkedin itself. What do you think? UK General Elections: Do you think you will you be voting for a main party or an independent in 2010? http://polls.linkedin.com/p/82297/uffcp Over to Linkedin Learning Center and you can learn stuff but OH NOOOOOO you can buy t-shirts with a Linkedin logo on them … so American it hurts … must leave this area now before it’s too late !!! Moved into the Answers area to see what’s going on and there is an awful lot … so many questions, so little time! Just had a call from someone about BinB, followed quickly by another to do with what’s going on for kids during the holidays … we have a bit of space under kids in Berkshire and there are 100 ideas there for folk … www.kidsinberkshire.co.uk I must be giving off the vibe that I’ve had enough of this research for today and I need to talk to people about doing business with us … it’s probably so … marvellous, another phone call from Daniel McLaren … good lad that Daniel … off networking in the sports arena making some serious connections. We talked about how there are still people out there who haven’t heard of social media and how lucky they are!! How they should be rewarded for not opening Pandora’s box!! Daniel has just joined us so he’ll be pushing out sports news via our website very soon … in fact I suggested he adds the content from his blog to the site and watch how our system treats his news … watch this space! Back to Linkedin Answers: I’ve just noticed that although I haven’t as yet had a Best Answer gold star, I have had a Good star back in 2008 … so long ago!!! I have answered 28 questions and made 1 expert suggestion in my time … I reckon by the time I get to answering 100 questions I’ll get that gold star that I so need to match my sheriff’s badge I pinched from Charlie (my son)!! I have enjoyed to day … I do need to talk to some people now … I think I’ll go and direct message a few folk from the group and see what they are up to … also need to get some more testimonials on here … I’ll go and write some for others and see if they respond … will have to give them a few days so I’ll report back on this activity Monday … Have a great weekend.
