Making the most of Linkedin Part 2 is about using Linkedin Groups so I took a look at our BinB Linkedin Group
While waiting on my client calling I received an email from one of my Rotary pals about the Royal Windsor Duck Race 2010 … this promoted me to go tidy up on that and I ended up creating a new opt-in form for this year’s race … time well spent … client must be lost in a meeting … good, generating more profit that he can spend with me!! Check out the www.duckrace.org.uk Back over to the BinB Group on Linkedin to see what’s cooking … had a few enquiries from outside the county looking to join our gang of merry Berkshire business owners … this is what happens when the profile grows … not sure if to let folk in or not … they tend to sit there until the moment I go, this is for the whole world, let them in !! Have one chap who runs a business called Male Escorts for Ladies … do we let him in … I’ll go ask the ladies!! A question has been asked by one of group about Google Local … got me thinking … I updated my profile the other day but could I add another business to the ledger?? Yes I could, so did … can I add a clients business and make it easy for them … I’ll go give it a go … in the meantime, go add some feedback on BinB to Google Maps Andy Palmer had been the first to post last night as his RSS feed told him someone had been adding stuff to the group and like the proverbial rat he was off to see what was cooking … I called him to touch base to get his take and catch up, we’ve not spoken for a couple of week … I’ve known Andy for a bunch of years now … met at an FSB dinner when I was in the chair and almost out of it at the same time … bum, bum!! (I was Chairman of the local group but seem to remember I’d had a few that night!) He appreciates the power of BinB as he’s referred a number of clients … he does know his SEO stuff and the value of local links unlike many “experts” who prefer to do much of that work out of India as it costs them a quid and they can charge £100 for the privilege! Featured a few of the discussions for a day or two to give them a profile … I think that is enough for Part 2 … time for a sandwich me thinks … if I was over in Bracknell I’d make sure I was buying mine from sosandwich … www.sandwichdeliveryservices.co.uk |
