A recent study commissioned by Amplify states: "When asked, with the benefit of hindsight, what SMB owners would do differently if they saw the recession looming again the majority (43%) said that they would have put a much greater emphasis on sales and marketing. And SMB owners, by their own admission, are not good at marketing their services: over a fifth (21%) had no systems for collecting and managing records or staying in touch with prospects at all. Nearly half the sample (48%) relies on Excel spreadsheets or Microsoft Access databases to store and manage prospective customer records. Very few had proactive and reliable systems for keeping in touch." Find out more... So where are you and your business? Are you pushing your CRM to the next level or do you have your head in the sand? How many new business leads is your current website producing? Enough? Or is it more like a web brochure, looking good but only you and your team are drivng visitors to it through your push activities. It's not getting found by strangers and your potential customers under its own natural, organic seo rankings? Jon Davey and his team have been building websites for years and for the last 2 years our Business Lead Generation Microsites have been pulling in potential clients for our customers. One happy customer quantified this into actual pound notes: "Since 1st January 2009 our website with Business in Berkshire has generated not only a high level of traffic our way, but new clients totalling £61,000 in revenue for the first two months of 2009 and with a guarantee for repeat business in the next 2 years – that’s in less than six weeks." An example of this is the car manufacturing company Ford Australia. Ford Australia only produces cars when they have been ordered by the customers. Full push-pull definition on Wikipedia. If people want anything today and don't know where to source it from, the first thing they are going to do is search Google, or other search engines and check out the first few links that appear at the top of page one of the search. If they find a solution, job done... if not they will refine the search until a solution is found. The key to a successful pull marketing strategy is being top of page one when your potential customers are searching the web... this is something we can help with...
